LONGER BIO
For the past 20 years, Tony Forcucci has been selling complex enterprise software into large strategic accounts across the US and internationally — currently as a Client Director for Major Accounts at Zscaler, the global leader in Zero Trust cybersecurity. The international dimension isn't accidental. In 1989, sitting in a class at the University at Buffalo, Tony did the math: 95% of everything in the world was happening somewhere outside the US. He's been making up for lost time ever since.
ENTERPRISE TECHNOLOGY SALES:
Tony's career spans an unusually broad range of enterprise software categories — from Design & Engineering to Manufacturing & Supply Chain, Order to Revenue, Full Stack Observability, and now Cybersecurity. What's consistent across all of it is the level of engagement: C-suite and SVP relationships, complex multi-stakeholder sales cycles, and large strategic accounts where the deals take real work to close.
Cybersecurity — Zscaler Tony is currently a Client Director for Major Accounts at Zscaler, the recognized global leader in Zero Trust security architecture.
Full Stack Observability — New Relic Prior to Zscaler, Tony spent two and a half years driving enterprise SaaS sales at New Relic, one of the three dominant players in Full Stack Observability. He carried responsibility for a select portfolio of very large named accounts representing over $60M in revenue.
Order to Revenue — Zuora & RecVue Before that, Tony worked in the Order to Revenue space at both Zuora and RecVue, helping large strategic accounts solve for complex subscription and mixed billing models — particularly relevant as major industrial companies began the shift to SaaS business structures.
Design & Engineering — PTC Tony cut his teeth in enterprise software at PTC, a global leader in engineering and manufacturing software. He worked at the C-suite and SVP level across IT and business units, with a primary focus on Industrial IoT — Smart Connected Products, Digital Twin, Augmented Reality, and the Digital Factory — partnering with some of the world's most recognized multinational manufacturers and OEMs.
The Entry Point — MFG.com Tony's original move into tech came in 2007 as Global Director at MFG.com, a Bezos Expeditions-backed company and the world's largest online manufacturing platform at the time. He pitched the concept internally, launched the vertical from scratch, and built a sales team of roughly 15 people across Atlanta, Paris, Geneva, Shanghai, and India. The vertical grew to over two billion dollars in sourced marketplace activity, working with top global retailers, brands, and factories.
ENTREPRENEUR:
Before tech, Tony co-founded Berik in 2000 — a cult technical motorsports apparel brand worn by professional racers in MotoGP and World Superbike. He built global distribution across ten countries and worked the international racing circuit before selling his stake in 2005. That experience in brand building and international distribution eventually informed the launch of Forcucci Roma, his independent fashion label rooted in Italian design — the brand he describes, with some affection, as "the luxury brand that doesn't quite exist."
EARLY CAREER:
People say travel while you're young. Tony took that seriously.
He spent most of 1993 leading bicycle tours throughout Italy as a guide for Ciclismo Classico, then joined ACIS from 1994 to 1996 leading group tours across Europe — moving through some of the continent's most iconic cities and regions with groups in tow. He closed out the decade with four years in sales for illy, the legendary Italian coffee brand, working with top chefs, restaurants, and hotels.
It was a decade spent almost entirely on the road. It showed him how to read a room in any language, how to lead people through unfamiliar places, and how to find the good stuff off the main itinerary.
TRAVEL:
Sixty countries across Europe, Southeast Asia, Japan, India, the Middle East, and Latin America — and still counting. These aren't quick stops. Tony has lived in Italy, worked across China, and navigated plenty of places that don't show up on the typical itinerary. The full map lives on the Travel page. The stories and photography are in the Dispatches.
MUSIC:
Tony has been a musician for over 30 years. In the 1990s he co-founded Worldwide Groove, a group that performed at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics and its anniversary concert the following year. Today he's the lead guitarist in New Sensation, one of America's premier INXS tribute bands, playing venues across the Southeast.
